- I'm an aspiring painter living in Northwest Iowa. Oil painting is my latest venture, in the past I've always been a pastel and watercolor artist. I studied to be an illustrator and I feel my style is all over the place. Hopefully with some encouragement and more frequent painting an identifiable style will emerge.
